I met Lois in Feb. 1995 when I started attending The Oaks church. I will dearly miss her. She was un-equaled in her heart for prayer, for missions and missionaries (i was am one of those that she cared for, prayed for and helped support). I will always remember how she stood up to the robber in their home as he pointed a gun at her and said,"We're Christians, and in the name of Jesus, I ask you to leave." And he did. The power of God in a dear woman yielded to Him.

I was truly sorry to hear of the loss of Lois. May our Lord comfort all of you in this time of sorrow. I knew her when I lived in Rosamond.

I am a the grandaughter of John Krauter. I remember Aunt Lois' grace and poise. I didn't know that she studied fashion or was a designer until reading her obituary, but I wasn't surprised to learn this about her. She was a lovely woman and always very kind to me.
I am sending my love to her family and friends.

While i don't remember Lois well (I'm a grandson of John Krauter), the story about serving food and laying out the best china reminds me of what i love so dearly about this family. We are always willing to help without judgment and with the utmost respect for others. We are family first and i will always appreciate that from Lois' generation. It makes me proud to be part of such a wonderful family and wish hers the best during these times.
