Lois H. LaBrosse

Lois passed away Friday, March 10, 2023 at Bay Special Care with her family by her side at the age of 92. She was born October 5, 1930 in Standish, Michigan to the late Henry and Edith (Bolt) Weishuhn. Lois graduated from Standish High School in 1948. Lois was a stranger to no one, who was known for her beautiful smile and ability to spark up a conversation with everyone. she enjoyed traveling, camping, going to Arizona during the winter for many years, dancing, bowling, playing her trumpet, baton twirling, going out to eat and spending time with her family and friends.
Lois is survived by her daughters, Janet Johannes and Debra (Jim) Sinay and Janet (Andy) Henning; son, Marty (Karen) LaBrosse; grandchildren, Kelly, Kristen and Kevin, Joshua (Tamra), Levi, Kate (Dave), Matthew (Kara), Derek and Jay LaBrosse; great grandchildren, Christopher, AJ, Jakob, Marissa, Donovan, Jace, Gianna, Sereniti, Sebastian, Zaniyah, Georgia, June, Lilly, Harper, Ellie, Drew, Harrison, and Marigold; great great grandchildren, Silas, Camille, McKenna and Ashton. In addition to her parents, Lois is welcomed in heaven by her husband, Al LaBrosse; husband Orion Johannes; son, John Johannes; brothers, Richard Weishuhn, Darel Weishuhn; granddaughter, Kimberly and many other family members.

Funeral Service will take place Thursday, March, 16, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. at Gephart Funeral Home with interment taking place at Floral Gardens, Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family on Thursday, March 16, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at the Funeral Home. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to make memorial contributions to Wishes of the Family.
