Dear Lois,

When the Lord created you He knew you would touch many lives. He made you smart, strong and so very good hearted. Though you were my Assistant Principal...in my later years you became an important member of my family. You were a "Great Grandma" to my granddaughters who never had the chance to meet my Mother, who passed away many years ago. The memories we shared with Gracie and Ella will live in our hearts forever. They often ask, "can we go see Miss McGee"....they are too young to understand you have moved to heaven. This week I thought about one year ago as you moved on to heaven. I looked through pictures and thanked the Lord
for the wonderful memories, for the love
and kindness you brought into my/our lives. The comments everyone has made are all so true... a great Educator, Strong, Fair, Compassionate and Fun!

We miss you and love you always,
Cherie & Jerry
And Gracie and Ella too xoxo

Miss McGee was great.
Tough but fair. Everybody
loved her. I did too even
after she sent me home
for wearing 2" heels.
Hey, it was the 60's.
My sincere condolences
to her family.

"Miss McGee" is what we knew her as our Assistant Principal at Forest Park Middle School in the last 1960's.
Later in life, I would see her at Richmond Restaurant when she went to visit our friend, Dolly.
She was a vibrant, beautiful person who never seemed to age.
I really enjoyed having dinner with her at her beautiful condo in Breckenridge Village and her next door neighbor was Mrs. Cesen!
I am sad to see her leave us, but I am sure she is making the best of where she is!
With love,
Susie Rolik

Offering my condolences to family and friends of Lois McGee.

As I look back, Lois McGee was a real dynamo. Always working in her office. As Assistant Principal at Forest Park Jr. High, she could be a real force to be reckoned with ! ( smile )

My memories of Miss McGee are good ones! She was a strict educator who put up with no nonsense, yet at the same time displayed a keen sense of fairness and objectivity.

She genuinely liked her students and showed an interest in each of us. Miss McGee always looked at a problem from both sides, she never " played favorites."

She was the kind of person you could go to and count on getting "real" advice from.

Miss McGee had a quick wit, ready smile and a great sense of humor! She made you feel comfortable, and was the kind of person you appreciated because you knew that she treated everyone with respect.

Thanks for the memories, many kindnesses and laughs.
(And "Yes ma'am, I finally found my tennis shoe laces")

She will surely be missed all

Sincerely,
Jean ( Zarzeczny ) Hocevar
