Lois Pennington was a beautiful and loving mom. I was not her daughter but her daughter, Joy´s friend and she and John treated me as one of their own when I was in college. I will always remember their kindness and love and generosity which amazed me for many years afterwards. She loved her daughters and all her family so deeply, but extended that love to all she knew.
She left an indelible mark on my life and I will always remember both Mom II and Dad II as I referred to them .
