Lois Seegren, beloved wife, mother, and friend, passed away peacefully on August 28, 2025, at her residence, The Virginian, in Fairfax, Virginia. She was 93.

Born in 1932 in Charleston, West Virginia, Lois married Lt. Colonel Norman W. Seegren, U.S. Air Force (Ret.), in 1952. Together they shared 53 years of marriage until his passing in 2005, founded by love, family, and service.

A devoted mother to Meri (& Johnny) Jones, Karen (& Neil) Burns, Cynthia (& Gary) Peed, and Paul (& Karen) Seegren, Lois will be remembered for her gentle spirit, steadfast faith, and the warmth and grace she brought to everyone she met.

Her lifelong love of art was one of her greatest joys. A gifted painter, Lois expressed herself beautifully through creativity that inspired all who knew her. She was also a proud member of P.E.O. for more than 50 years, treasuring the fellowship and purpose it brought to her life.

Above all, Lois cherished her family. She is survived by her children, eight grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren, who will carry forward her legacy of kindness, strength, and devotion.
