I am the woman I am today because of Lois, no seriously. Lois was my house mom and through some really hard times in my life she was there, always loving me, helping and encouraging me to be the best that I could be. I will never forget the day on our way to church, she suddenly pulled over the van, started crying and she put her hand on me. She told me that God has such big plans for my life and she told me that God wanted her to deliver that message to me. I can't tell you how many times her words got me through some of the darkest and hardest moments of my life. . I just talked with Lois after many, many years, a few months ago. I was able to tell her how much she meant to me and to thank her for loving me. She is my angel and I am blessed to have known her. As I sit here crying I can still hear her laugh and I can still see her smile. I love you Grandma Lois.
