Lois May Wann (nee Buban) passed away on January 18, 2022, at the age of 95. Beloved wife of the late Norbert F Wann, and loving mother to Debbie (John), Claudia (Mike), Jennifer (Mark), and Carolyn (Jeff). Loving grandmother to Beth (Brad), Nick (Jasmine), Jessica (Charles), Preston (Chelsea), Elizabeth, Andrew (Paige), Zachary, Dylan, and Joshua. Loving great-grandmother to Marina, Luca and Alessia; dear sister, sister-in-law, aunt, cousin, and friend to many.

Born and raised in Chicago, IL, Lois was initially employed as an executive secretary with Container Corporation. Her husband's profession offered work and travel to London, England; then on to several states around the US including Illinois, California, Florida, Missouri, and New Jersey. After raising her daughters, she re-entered the workforce as an administrative assistant with Ciba-Geigy Pharmaceuticals in Summit, NJ. Upon their retirement, a move to Jacksonville, FL near one of their daughters, offered warmer weather. With Norbert's passing in 2019, Lois made a final move to St. Louis which brought her closer to additional family members.

Along with her deep love of husband and family, Lois had a variety of passions. She loved classical music, especially when performed by one of her daughters, and was herself an accomplished pianist. She was a great lover of animals and had a special soft spot for dachshunds, one of which was nearly always at her side or on her lap. She could always be found with needle and thread in hand, working on her latest quilting project. A celebration of her life will be held in the Spring.
