Lois Kelli Watson, age 68, of Council Bluffs, passed away November 23, 2024, on I-90 near Alexandria, South Dakota. Kelli was born July 23, 1956, in La Mesa, California to the late Robert R. and Janice (Roberts) Oliver, Sr. She graduated high school in California. Kelli married Jeffrey Watson of Council Bluffs on January 5, 1997. She worked for the Council Bluffs Community Schools Food Service Department at Thomas Jefferson High School retiring in 2021. Kelli is survived by her husband of 27 years, Jeff Watson; daughter, Crystal (Ryan) Meza all of Council Bluffs; stepdaughter, Brianna (Garit) Wallace of Yucaipa, CA; 7 grandchildren, 1 great granddaughter; brother, Robert Oliver, Jr. of Council Bluffs; 3 sisters, Cynthia (Bill) Wennhold of Council Bluffs, Caroline (Steve) Nadeau of Oceanside, CA, De De (Greg) Main of San Diego, CA; nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.
Celebration of Life, Saturday, December 7, 2024, beginning at 1:00 p.m. at the Walnut Hill Reception Center, 1350 E. Pierce St. Remarks and food will be shared. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Best Defense Foundation.
