Lois "Sunshine" Jean Williams, 73, of Sedalia, MO, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, September 27, 2024. She was born on October 20, 1950, in Sedalia, the daughter of John J. and Mildred G. (Murray) Andrick, who preceded her in death.
Lois was a vibrant soul, always finding joy in her hobbies and interests. She was a devoted family member, as reflected in the extensive collection of photographs that adorned her home. She cherished her time outdoors, nurturing her yard and finding joy in nature. She was a lover of music and dancing and also enjoyed camping, her sons-in-law grilling, and shopping. Cooking brought her immense joy, and she lovingly prepared meals for many, including her colleagues at the bus barn, where she was a proud employee. A strong and proud woman, Lois will be deeply missed by all fortunate enough to know and love her.
She is survived by two daughters, LaCrissa Craig (Barry) of Jefferson City, MO and LaKisha Williams Eckhoff (Dan) of Sedalia; two sisters, Sharon McCollum (Mike) of Sedalia and Connie Andrick (Judy) of Logan, UT; four grandchildren who meant the world to her, Shaun Webb (Carleena) of Walton, KY, Candace Cunningham of Jefferson City, Adrianna Williams of Columbia and Dakota Williams of Sedalia; five great-grandchildren, Malachi Dupree, Jordan Dupree, Arabella Dupree, Kobe Dupree and Shaun Webb III.
Funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 1, 2024, at Rea Funeral Chapel, Sedalia, with Pastor Rusty Thomas officiating.
Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the chapel.
Burial will be at Highland Sacred Gardens, Sedalia, MO.
Pallbearers will be Daniel Eckhoff, Dakota Williams, Paul White, Jamie Barnett, Steve Triplett and Kyle Willoughby.
Honorary bearer will be Shaun Webb, II.
Memorial contributions are suggested to Retrieving Freedom, 20360 Tangle Nook Rd. Sedalia, MO 65301 or in the care of Rea Funeral Chapel.
