Lois Wright Obituary
Lois Marie (Buck) Wright, age 89, of Bonnerdale, passed away on Saturday June 7th, 2025. She was born on May 30th, 1936, to Jewel and Mattie Buck in Pearcy, Arkansas. She married Henry Wright on June 30th, 1958.
She was a member of Mt. Moriah Missionary Baptist Church in Bonnerdale. She was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jewel and Mattie Buck; daughter, Nancy Wright; and her two sisters, Helen Miller and Myrtle Diggs.
She is survived by her loving husband of 66 years, Henry Wright; her son and daughter-in-law, James and Penny Wright of Bonnerdale; two granddaughters, Ashley and Amy Wright of Bonnerdale; her nephews, Terry and Frankie Reppo of Ft. Worth, Texas; many nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
Visitation will begin at 9:00 AM Wednesday, June 11, 2025 with a funeral service to follow at 10:00 AM at Smith Family Funeral Home in Hot Springs with Brother Wesley Howard officiating. Burial will follow at Mazarn Chapel Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Leon Ault, Weston Ault, David Mahan, Michael Wright, David Robbins, and Paul Kolb.
Honorary pallbearers are members of Mt. Moriah Missionary Baptist Church, Dr. Kevin Hale, William Kolb, and Dr. Webb.
In lieu of flowers, donation may be sent to Mazarn Chapel Cemetery: P.O. Box 2 Bonnerdale, AR, 71933.
