Lola Lorene Moffett, 81, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on August 31, 2025 surrounded by her loving family. Lola was a woman of unshakable faith who fought a long and courageous battle with grace and strength. She loved Jesus above all else and built her life around serving him and loving her family deeply.
Lola was born on July 26, 1944 to Felix and Lola Mae Cartwright. She married the love her life, Kenneth Moffett, on November 27, 1961 in Stigler, Oklahoma and they were blessed with 54 years together and made their home in Sallisaw, Oklahoma.
Her legacy is the strong foundation she laid for her children and grandchildren rooted in prayer, faith, and unconditional love. To know her was to love her and you always knew she loved you BIG. Though she will be deeply missed, we rejoice that she is now in the presence of our Savior and walking the streets of gold with her soul mate.
She is survived by her children, Gary Moffett and Sharon of Sallisaw, OK and Regina Lofton and Steve of OKC, OK; five grandchildren, Ashley Budovec and Mike of Fort Gibson, OK, Teagen Howell and Mike of Mishawaka, IN, Amanda Anderson and Brett of Sallisaw, OK, Leighea Dowd and Steve of Teresita, OK and Cody Moffett of Sallisaw, OK; 10 great-grandchildren, Ashlynne Girty and Ethan of Muldrow, OK who held an extra special place in her heart, as well as Damien, Emma, Journey, Harli, Mae Ellen, Riley, Theo, Layton, and Olivia.
