Lola Page Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Nelson Memorial Gardens, Inc. - Fort Wayne on Jan. 15, 2026.
Lola Fay Page was born to George and Flora Crawford on January 27, 1947, in Booneville, Kentucky. On January 12, 2026, God honored Lola's prayer and peacefully called her from this life as she transitioned to her heavenly home, surrounded by family.

Lola accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized in the Name of Jesus while living in Kentucky. She remained a woman of faith throughout her life and attended church regularly. In recent years, she enjoyed visiting different churches and continuing her spiritual journey.

Lola later moved to Fort Wayne, Indiana, where she met and married Frank Page, Sr., to whom she devoted over half a century. Together, they built a life and raised eight children. For many years, Lola served as a homemaker, faithfully caring for her family. After her oldest left for college and her youngest started kindergarten, she reentered the workforce and worked for Fort Wayne Community Schools in several capacities, including food service and custodial services, until retiring in May 2009.

Lola was known for her warmth, humor, and kindness, and she never met a stranger. She enjoyed gardening and was known for her "green thumb." Lola also enjoyed traveling, shopping, mystery shows, reality-documentary series such as Alaskan Bush People, and music; especially Lee Williams. In her earlier years, she enjoyed playing Pac-Man and cards, especially PO-KE-NO. Most recently, she enjoyed playing Mahjong on her iPad.

Lola Fay Page was preceded in death by her parents, George and Flora Crawford; her husband, Frank Page, Sr.; her brothers Jay Crawford, Carl Crawford, Billy Crawford, and Jerry Crawford; her sisters Carlie Chandler, Virginia Royal, and Aline Walker; her grandchildren Leon Page, Jr. and DeZarae Page; and her stepdaughter, Carolyn Wood.

Lola leaves to cherish her memory her eight children: Renata Page; Frank (Celeste) Page; Jacqueline Page; Snider (Nicole) Page; Jeannette Wattley; Christina Page; Timothy Page; and Leon (Emily) Page; three brothers: Clarence (Elizabeth) Crawford, Earl Crawford, and Edward Crawford; stepchildren Cynthia Collins and Ricky Underwood; 25 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family.

Lola trusted God's promises and now rests in eternal peace. Her legacy of love will live on through all who were blessed to know her.
