Lonnie Abrams Obituary

He was born May 10, 1954 in Cambridge, son of the late Thomas Franklin Abrams and Marjorie Ann (Vance) Abrams.
Lonnie was a retired US Navy veteran, having served his country from 1972 to 2002 during both the Vietnam War and the Iraq War. He earned the rank of E/6 during his service.
He was a life member of Fleet Reserve Association and a life member of the Byesville VFW Post 3760.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Larry S. Abrams Sr. (Lonnies twin brother), Thomas I. Abrams, and Daniel Abrams.
Lonnie is survived by a daughter, Heather Dawn Abrams; two brothers, Jerry Abrams and Mike Abrams; a sister-in-law, Rose Abrams; five grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and his family friends, Tom & Marsha Rose and Rodger & Kathy Lyons.
Visitation will be held Thursday (September 11, 2025) from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Black-Epperson Funeral Home, Byesville, where funeral services will follow at 12:30 p.m. with Evan. Mark Beros officiating.
Burial will be at Guernsey County Memory Gardens, Cambridge, with military graveside honors conducted by the Guernsey County Veterans Council.
