I am saddened to see that Lonnie has passed away. I remember him as a kind man who had a joke and a smile for everyone.

I started going to him when I was just a young teen (back when his office was upstairs w/WINA). Long after I had married and moved to Williamsburg I would pack my family up twice a year and drive to Charlottesville for checkups--he was that good.

I have fond memories of Lonnie, and I'm sure he will be missed by those he held dearest.

Mary, I am so sorry to hear of Lonnie's passing. My mom and day thought it was no dentist like him. They loved his sense of humor. Please accept my condolences. Diane Hawkins Houchens

Lonnie was my favorite dentist of all time; his pragmatic approach to dental care is missed sorely. But mostly I loved Lonnie for his humor--I don't believe I ever left his office without a smile in my heart. Blessings on his family.

Lonnie
Sorry to hear about your father passing on. I offer my sympathies to you and your siblings. It is tough to be an orphan no matter what the age. I had my struggles with my father but I always talked with him when I had a decision.
Good luck
