Lonnie E. Taylor, 79, of Somerset, Kentucky passed away on Sunday, January 4, 2026 at the Jean Waddle Care Center.
She was born on January 6, 1946 to the late Cecil & Mary Eva (Denny) Taylor in Indiana. She loved doing crossword puzzles and found great enjoyment in watching westerns, especially those starring John Wayne. A woman of deep faith, she cherished going to church and read her Bible every day.
She is survived by her daughter, Julia & (Dewayne) Baker; a sister, Wanda & (Tommy) Broadway; grandchildren, Brittany & (Leandre) Hayes and Micheal Baker; two great-grandchildren, Abram Renaker and Camon Renaker; and two nephews, Tommy Broadway, Jr., and Jason Broadway; and a host of nieces and nephews she loved dearly.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM Thursday, January 8, 2025 at Community Baptist Church with Bro. Ron Shaw officiating.
Burial will be in Lakeside Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends after 11:00 AM Thursday, January 8, 2025 at Community Baptist Church until time for services.
