Lora Beard Obituary
She was born April 12th, 1940, in Marshall County, to the late Lyttle and Eula Johnson Tomlin. She retired as an Inspector for Teledyne and was a member of the Church of Christ.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Mark Beard in 2003, and two brothers, John Thomas Tomlin, and James L. "Red" Tomlin.
She is survived by two sons, Tim (Connie) Beard of Cornersville, and Anthony "Redman" Beard of Lewisburg, sister, Lucille Jobe of Tullahoma, three granddaughters, Lora Beard, Ashley (Kenny) Hughes, and Sydney Beard, two grandsons, Mark (Mara) Beard II, and Brad Beard, six great grandchildren, and a best friend, Edna Clark.
Visitation with the family will be held at London Funeral Home on Monday, April 8th, 2024 from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm and will continue on Tuesday, April 9th, 2024 until the funeral hour.
Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, April 9th, 2024, at 11:00 am from the Chapel of London Funeral Home 324 West Church Street Lewisburg, Tennessee 37091 with burial to follow in New Hope at Talley Cemetery.
