Services are Friday, Jan. 09, 2026, at Cathedral of Faith Baptist Church 3755 Fannett Rd. Beaumont, TX. Visitation will begin at 9AM until Funeral at 10AM. Interment will be in Live Oak Memorial Park Beaumont, TX.

Lora Brown, born January 24, 1950, to the late Colton and Irene Arvie.

She gave her life to Christ at an early age at St. Joseph Baptist Church in Chataignier, Louisiana and later became a member of Carver Heights Baptist Church for over 40 years in Dallas Tx.

Being a 26-year Breast cancer survivor, she moved to Beaumont, Texas after her husband Willie Brown of 46 years passed away in 2012.

After moving to Beaumont, she became a faithful member at Cathedral of Faith Baptist Church where she was an active member in the Women of Purpose Sunday School, Electa Mission Circle, and sung in the Senior Choir.

Lora was a part of the sister-4-Sister Breast Cancer Organization as well. Her ministry was helping any one she could and bringing joy to many. Her passion was for her family and the elderly and was one of the biggest Dallas Cowboys fans.

Sis Lora Brown graduated from James Stephens High School in 1968 and later received her certification at Alternate Business Community College in Dallas Texas.

Lora was preceded death by, Husband: Willie Brown; Parents Colton and Irene Arvie; and two siblings.

On December 27, 2025 God called Lora home to be by his side, leaving behind a lifetime of memories and cherished by, Daughters: Sonsharon Martin (Steven), Demetria Brown: Grandchildren : Shanequa Moore, Kendrell Moore ( Ashley), Antonisha Stewart, Yashu'a Morrison; Great Grandson:: Kendrell Moore Jr., Kameron Moore; Eight Siblings and a host of Nieces and Nephews, and so many friends that loved her.
