Born on May 2, 1966, in Salem, Oregon, Lora was the beloved daughter of Beverly Jean (McRae) Kendoll and Everett Byron Kendoll. After graduating from high school, she pursued higher education at Western Oregon University, where she earned her Bachelor's Degree. With a keen intellect and steadfast dedication, she built a successful career as a claims adjuster at SAIF, where she served for over three decades until her well-earned retirement.
On May 6, 2000, Lora married the love of her life, Joe Taylor, in Salem, Oregon. Their union was marked by deep companionship, shared joy, and mutual respect. She carried this same devotion into her roles as a mother and grandmother, offering unwavering love and support to her family. Lora found her greatest fulfillment in the happiness of her loved ones, always placing others before herself with quiet generosity and grace.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Beverly and Everett, but leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. Lora is survived by her beloved daughter, Alexandria (Kai) Ohmae, and her treasured grandchildren, Airilee, Anthony, and Kai Jr., who brought her immeasurable joy. She is also survived by her dear siblings, Lynne and Jerry, who will hold close the memories of her warmth and spirit.
Lora's life was one of quiet strength, boundless kindness, and an enduring love for family. She will be deeply missed by all who were fortunate enough to know her.
