Lora Marie Kuechler

This world has lost another angel — our beautiful sister, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Lora Burkett Kuechler, age 64, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 13, 2023, at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Edgewood, KY.

Lora was born on January 29, 1959 in Covington, KY to her sweet parents, Jack and Carol Ryan Burkett, who await her on the other side.  She is survived by one son, Tim Kuechler, six grandchildren and two great grandchildren.  She also had three sisters, Karen (Tom) Griffin, Peggy Burkett and Terra (Wendell) Clem. And last, but certainly not least, she had her four-legged kid, Mr. Bo (the Boxer) who brought her enormous joy. He will feel her loss as much as the rest of us.

Lora’s family would like to thank the many doctors and angel nurses who took care of her with such compassionate care in her last days.  They were also there in support of her sister Peggy as her sister took her last breath late into the night.  Simply thank you - their tenderness and love will not be forgotten.  Thank you to Lora’s longtime, close friends who were so loving and caring by calling, visiting and praying for her, and taking care of her dog over the last several weeks.

Lora, you are so going to be missed and we will have a hole in our heart.  Goodbye – but ONLY for a time. Families are Forever.  Give mom and dad and the grandparents a big hug for us.  See you on the other side. 

There will be no funeral.  A small intimate private Celebration of Life will be held in the days to come by invitation.
