Lora Lee Morris, age 75, passed away Friday, July 25, 2025, at her daughter’s home near Coldwater, MS.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 31, 2025 in the Martin Willingham Memorial Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with the interment to follow at Lambert Cemetery in Lambert, MS. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service.
Lora Lee was welcomed into this world by her parents, William Caynous Pinkston and Ruby Inez Mitchell Pinkston in Lambert, MS.
For most of her career, Lora Lee worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), where she devoted herself to caring for others. Her nurturing nature extended beyond her professional life; it was evident in her personal passions as well. Lora Lee often explored her creative side, painting and hanging wallpaper for Horseshoe Casino, crafting spaces that would bring joy to many.
Lora Lee was a member of the Crowder Assembly of God. She cherished the bonds she formed within her church, often participating in events that brought together friends and family.
Lora Lee's love for her family was immeasurable. She adored spending time with her grandchildren, always cherishing the moments they shared. Additionally, her close relationship with her sister, Patsy, brought her immense joy. They were the best of friends and enjoyed spending time together, shopping, and traveling. In quieter moments, Lora Lee found relaxation in sitting down to watch her favorite television shows.
The family left behind to cherish her precious memory include her three children, Jenniffer Stephenson (Larry) of Coldwater, MS, Karmann Holden (Jeff) of Hernando, MS, and Bertram Morris, III (Shawna) of Horn Lake, MS; her two siblings, Patsy Miller and Billy Pinkston both of Lambert, MS; and her four grandchildren, Connor Stephenson of Coldwater, MS, Justin Hudson of Oxford, MS, Joshua Holden of Hernando, MS, and Kristian Holden of Hernando, MS.
She is preceded in death by her parents, William and Ruby Pinkston; one brother, Jimmy Pinkston; and one grandson, William Drake Stephenson.
