Loralee Gurley, 88, of Greeley, Colorado, passed away on October 13, 2025, in Greeley. She was born on September 26, 1937, in Plymouth, Michigan, to Peter Gayde and Bernice Cline.
Loralee was a devoted Denver Broncos fan and especially adored her Hall of Fame quarterbacks, Peyton Manning and John Elway. When the Broncos weren't on TV, you could often find her at home creating beautiful ornaments and crafts through her love of crocheting. Her creativity extended on paper, as she had the most beautiful handwriting.
She had one of the kindest hearts and a smile that could light up any room. It was impossible not to love her once you met her. Loralee will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her children, Rick (Stacey) Theriault, Michelle (Gerry) Groth, Sally (Lanny) Horner, and Jayne (Joe) Algozine; ten grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; her brother, Bill Gayde; her nieces and nephews and numerous extended family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles; her parents and her children, Timothy Allen, and William Charles; sister-in-law, Carolyn Gayde.
Lighthouse Family Mortuary in Greeley, Colorado, has been entrusted with her care. To leave condolences for Loralee's family, please visit www.lighthousefamilylfm.com. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
