I sure wish I could be there for your picnic. Monroe, please let the family know how this precious lady is loved.
We enjoyed our times as teenagers in Johnson City Tn. and we enjoyed you also. Hattie (her Mom) was very special to us. I can still see Lorena skating with her coordinated red and white outfit on and her toboggan hat with tail wrapped around her neck/shoulders and fluffy red ball on end blowing behind her. What a loving picture! Hollywood Style.

Kathy's words said it all. Lorena was that same loving woman as a teenager when I met her in Johnson City, Tennessee back in the 1950's. She was the darling of Johnson City, a beautiful skater with trophies and a movie star look. She and I became close friends. Regretfully after graduation, she moved and so did I. We lost touch until a few years ago and we talked finally. Thanks to Carlie and Monroe, I was told about her situation. I got to talk with her thru Christie at least two times before she passed. Knowing her is such a great memory and I never forgot her. God has a very special lady now and I feel blessed by the couple of years she spent in my life. God Be With All of You.

one of my favorite neighbors on East Drive! We became good friends when we were raising our children, and poodles!. She had a great sense of humor, a kind and sweet personality. I am fortunate to have known her. hugs to Jim Bob, Carlie and the rest of her loved ones.
