Lorene "Sissy" Klenotic, 87

CAMPBELL…Lorene "Sissy" Klenotic, 87 passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 8, 2026 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Youngstown, Ohio

Lorene was born November 15, 1938 in Youngstown, Ohio, a daughter of George and Laura (Nardella) DeLuca.

She was a 1956 graduate of Campbell Memorial High School and was a life long resident of the Campbell area.

Lorene married the love of her life, Robert Klenotic on February 6, 1960 and they shared 36 years of marriage until his passing on February 19, 1996.

She was employed at Laura's Restaurant on Wilson Avenue and at Chuck's Confectionary and later became a homemaker.

Lorene was of the Catholic faith and was a parishioner of the former St. Elizabeth Church in Campbell. She volunteered helping in the church kitchen and with various church events.

Lorene was an avid reader and enjoyed cooking, playing the lottery, and cutting her grass. She loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Lorene will be deeply missed and always remembered by her sons, Robert Klenotic of Columbus, Georgia and John Klenotic of Campbell, Ohio; her grandchildren, Brooklyn (Wesley) Barfield of Columbus, Georgia and Beau Klenotic of St. Petersburg, Florida; great-granddaughter, Julianna Barfield; great-grandson, Remington Barfield.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert; her son, Charles Klenotic; brothers, Don, George, James, Robert and Richard DeLuca.

The Klenotic family has entrusted Lorene's care to the Wasko Funeral Home in Campbell, Ohio. No services will be held at this time.
