Lorene Williams Obituary
Lorene was born in Oneida, Kentucky in 1952 to Roe Carmack and Verdie Mae (Couch) Carmack and spent her childhood in the mountains of Owsley County before moving to Frankfort, Kentucky.
Lorene was preceded in death by her husband, Denny F. Williams; first husband, Michael K. Sanford, and parents Roe and Verdie Mae Carmack. She is survived by her children, William Eugene Sanford (Julie Sanford), Melinda Kay Sanford, James Ray Sanford (Mary Sanford); 8 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, two sisters, Easter Carmack Spencer (Charles Spencer), Jacqualine Carmack McDonald (Donald McDonald), and three brothers, Leroe Carmack, Cooper Carmack, and John Carmack.
Funeral services will be 12:00 P.M. Noon, Tuesday, January 9th at LeCompte Johnson Taylor Funeral Home in Frankfort, Kentucky with Pastor Joseph Woods officiating. Interment will follow at the Carmack Cemetery located at 7810 Harp Pike Road Frankfort, Kentucky. Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. until the time of service. Pallbearers will be Jeremy Carmack, Albert Loman, John Lyons, Charles Redden, Chris Spencer, and Thomas Vaughn. Memorials or donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
