In loving memory of Lorenzo Chavez, who was born on January 20th, 1980, and left this world on November 17th, 2025, at the age of 45. Born in Albuquerque, NM, to parents Lorenzo Chavez and Gloria P. Lorenzo was a gentle soul with a fierce love for his family, especially his nephews. He has been greeted in heaven by his grandparents Victor and Mary Montoya, Benny and Beatrice Chavez, his nephew Julian Aranda Chavez, and his father Lorenzo Chavez. He is survived by his mother, Gloria, and stepfather David, sister Lisa, and brother-in-law Vernon, nephew and godson Adrian, nephews Jayden and Anden. His baby sister, Jaclyn.
Lorenzo will always be remembered for his giving heart and kind spirit. He loved his nephews so much and had a special bond with each of them. Lorenzo was one of the hardest workers you could come across. He always gave one-hundred and ten percent because he was such a perfectionist and wanted to do a great job at everything he did. He and his mother shared an especially close bond, one he showed through the heartfelt and meaningful gifts he gave her. Since Lorenzo was little, he was adventurous, he had no fear and would always be ready to have fun. Lorenzo loved fishing, riding dirt bikes, and video-gaming. Lorenzo was easy to love and made friends everywhere he went. His kind spirit always allowed new and long-lasting friendships in his life. But most of all, he loved his family. Lorenzo will live in our hearts forever.
A celebration of life will be held on November 30, 2025, at 12:00 p.m. at Trujillo Family Funeral Home Chapel, 110 Alvarado Dr SE, Albuquerque, NM 87108.
