Our Beloved Lorenzo "Larry" Esquibel peacefully continued on his journey into the arms of Our Lord and those he dearly missed on November 6, 2025 in Redwood City, CA.

Lorenzo was born on August 10,1937 to his loving parents Alfonso and Isabel Esquibel. He was preceded in death by his parents, his beloved Grandmother Tonita Esquibel, brothers-in- law Dan Gallegos and Ken Macy.

Lorenzo is survived by his siblings whom he dearly loved, Modesta Macy, Margaret Gallegos, Glorya Heim (Bob) and Gilbert Esquibel (Christine) and special niece Wanda Gallegos. He also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews , great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews, cousins and friends whom he deeply cherished.

Lorenzo spent most of his life in dedication to Our Lord. Upon leaving Las Vegas he attended Immaculate Heart of Mary Academy followed with his studies at St. Meinrad Archabbey where he received his degree in Theology . Later he resided in Mountain View, CA where he worked at Eden Medical Center, Stanford Linear and Stanford Hospital -Medical Center.

Upon his retirement he dedicated himself to his church and his community by becoming a minister of the Eucharist, Lector, Counselor and teacher to those who wanted to learn the teachings of the Bible.

Lorenzo will be tremendously missed and remembered for the life he lived and how he touched the hearts of those he loved.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Our Lady of Sorrows Church c/o 403 Valencia St. Las Vegas , NM 87701 on behalf of Lorenzo "Larry" Esquibel.

Mass will be live streamed at www.oloslasvegas.org.

Services will be held on Thursday, December 4, 2025 beginning with a Rosary at 9:00 am at Our Lady of Sorrows Church in Las Vegas, NM followed immediately by Mass of Christian burial. Internement to follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
