Loreto R. Panganiban, a beloved member of her family and community, passed away peacefully on November 23, 2025, at Albany Medical Center, surrounded by her loved ones. She was born on December 10, 1938, in Batangas, Philippines. A devoted sister, Loreto cherished her close-knit relationships, particularly with her family.
In her professional life, Loreto enjoyed a fulfilling career as a Pharmacy IV Tech at St. Peter's Hospital, where she dedicated herself to the care and well-being of her patients. Her work was marked by kindness and a strong sense of duty.
A proud immigrant, Loreto moved to America in 1971, an accomplishment made possible through the encouragement of her best friend, Josie Miranda. She embraced her new life with open arms, leaving a lasting impact on those fortunate enough to know her.
Loreto's interests included watching the game show Family Feud, which brought her joy and laughter. She was quiet and reserved, a devout catholic who loved her family.

She is also remembered by her sister Marietta Panganiban and brother Ricardo Panganiban (Carmelita), along with their children Gabrielle (Matthew Jones), Zaiden, and Emily (Nicola).
Loreto is preceded in death by her parents, Emilio and Tranquilina; her niece, Alelie, her nephew in-law, Paul Balansay; and longtime partner of Marietta, Ted McGowan.
