Obituary for Loretta Marie Grant
"For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand. I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth, there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge shall give me at that day; and not me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing." II Timothy 6:8.
God in his infinite wisdom received Loretta home on Monday, November 24, 2025.
Loretta was born to Clara Mae Williams and the late Allen Gray in Donaldsonville, LA on July 31, 1952. She accepted Jesus Christ at an early age. She was a member of the Word of Life Christian Center in Darrow, LA under the leadership of Apostle Leroy Thompson, Sr.
Whether in passing or on her job, Loretta greeted everyone with a warm smile and an open heart. She was employed at Marian's Beauty Salon for 47 years. She also worked for over 10 years at the Council on Aging as a homemaker. Moreover, she was also a family photographer with an astronomical amount of family pictures.

Her favorite tv shows were Survival, Andy Griffin, the Jeffersons, Storage War, Sanford & Son. Also, last but not least, her TV boyfriend was Columbo.
