Loretta M. Hamrick
Loretta M. Hamrick, 90, widow of Charles Henry Hamrick went home to be with the Lord, Thursday, May 22, 2025 at Regional Hospice Home.
Born May 7, 1935 in Rutherford County, NC., she was a daughter of the late C.W. Wease and Lilly Henson Wease. She was formerly employed with Burwell’s Chevrolet and later with Dick Brooks Chevrolet. She was a lifelong member of Credit Women’s Internation, she was a long time and faithful member of Hicks Grove Baptist Church.
Surviving is her daughter, Sharon Ruppe; sisters, Jennie Sue Collins, Frances Botts; brother, Robert Wease; granddaughters, Meagan Keeney and husband Joshua, Michelle Stewart and husband Rob; great-grandchildren, Jaxon Stewart, Jameson Stewart, Willow Stewart, Elijah Keeney and Aowyn Keeney.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until 1:45 p.m. Wednesday, May 28, 2025 at Hicks Grove Baptist Church. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the church with Rev. Brian Cole, Rev Ad Hopper officiating with Rev Raymond Bryd providing the closing prayer. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
