Earlier today

What more can you say about Loretta than that she was "Simply the Best". From her years of service to Grant Worship Center (formerly known as Grant Chapel AME Church; now newly merged and renamed Grant Crosswork Community Church) to her helming, with distinction, the Christian Debutantes and Masters Commission (CDMC) of the African Methodist Episcopal (AME) Church from 1992-2008 as its' Administrator. Loretta loved the CDMC and learned her craft at the feet of its originator, Dr. Julma Crawford. I was honored to have assisted Loretta with drafting some of the printed programs during the initial years of her administration. I (and the Grant AMEC family) was very proud of her. She made bricks out of straw. No one really knows what goes on behind the scenes or what it takes to present something on that scale. She did it well. Love, Vicki Houston & David Houston (CDMC-'92) and family
