Loretta Rose Robinson, 80 of Worcester, passed away peacefully in the comfort of her home on Wednesday, November 27, 2024, with her daughters by her side.
Loretta was born in Holden, MA., the daughter of the late Joanna (Bagdonovich) and Fremont Willey. Raised in Worcester, she graduated from Commerce High School, Class of 1962. Loretta worked as the Commissioner’s administrative assistant for the City of Worcester, Department of Public Works for many years before retiring. Loretta enjoyed crafts, especially crocheting and made many items for people to cherish for years to come. Her greatest joy was her family, her friends and her dog Rosie. Loretta was always there with a smile or a hug, just to make your day better.
Loretta’s husband of 54 years, Francis A. Robinson passed away in 2017. She is survived by her two daughters, Kim Lewis and her husband Michael of Gardner and Debra Dobson of Charlestown, RI; two sisters, Dolores Clark and her husband Philip of West Boylston, Cynthia Welch and her husband Robert of Worcester; four grandchildren, Joanna Stegall-Smith and her husband Tyler, Benjamin Lewis, Adam Lewis and his fiancé Katarina Lewczyk, Emma Ahern and her husband Jake; and several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather on Thursday, December 12 from 11 am to 12 noon with a funeral service immediately following at 12:00 noon in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St., Worcester. Burial will be held privately.
