Loretta, I miss you so very much, I was just thinking about when we would have our neighborhood Talent show, we only had two neighbors that could sing, ( You and Sylvette ) You always was willing to sing, we enjoyed it so much that we started charging everyone to come and hear ya'll, that's how we paid for our Cake and Ice Cream Party, You will always hold a special place in my heart and I will see you again one day, Maybe then I can sing a song for you, lol. I love you and miss you so much, Happy Heavenly Birthday, I know you are having an Holy Ghost Party with all of our love ones that made it to the Kingdom. I love you

To Waymon and the entire Strickland and Ridley Families: There's not a day that goes by that I don't think about Loretta, Growing up in the same neighborhood as pre-teens, we shared so many good times together, Loretta had this very contagious laugh, and there was some words that I struggled trying to say and she would always trick me into saying them, and then she would laugh so loud, because she thought that was so funny, I never got mad with her about it, because her laugh, made me laugh, we remained friends even after I moved out of the neighborhood we would still communicate, I know she's having a Hallelujah good time up in Heaven, waiting on us to make it in, I am so blessed and honored to have her as a real true friend. To the Stricklands and Ridley's I praise God for letting me know both sides of these amazing families, and I must say God knew exactly what he was doing when he brought these families together. I love you all dearly.

Cousin Waymon, I pray you are comforted and are finding peace. I miss your communication and would love to hear from you again. I love you cuz!

Loretta, I am so sorry. I couldn’t be there for my final goodbye. Derrick passed on the same day. I pray, that your family find comfort some day. Because I know it isn’t easy living without someone as loving as you. Rest In Peace Sis. I love you

Lord have mercy, I am missing you every day of my life, I miss those phone calls on special occasions, days that my family don't even remember, Loretta you were truly a beautiful person inside and out, I will never forget you, I was waiting on your call on August 30, and when that phone didn't ring, I just broke down, Thank you for always being there for me. My forever friend.

My deepest sympathy for Loretta and her family. She was such a beautiful spirit with a lovely voice.

As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends.

My heart and love are with u all during this time. Your entire family means SO much to my family. From Bunche Middle School band trips to Mays High, CAU, and then running into Strick at Publix with the grandkids. We love you and are praying for you during this time.
