Laurel (Lori) Andrews was born on August 30, 1964 in Coudersport, Pennsylvania. On March 19, 1993, she gave birth to her only child, Clayton. Lori was a loving wife, mother, sister, friend and aunt. She studied nursing at Robert Packer Hospital School of Nursing, where she graduated and went on to have a successful career of over 40 years as an RN. She also went on to become certified as an, Ig Certified Nurse, (IgCN).
Lori, RN, IgCN was employed with Corinthian Health Services as the director of Clinical Operations. If you asked Lori though, they were considered family, rather than employer/coworker. She enjoyed traveling, animals, cooking, helping others and she adored her job. Lori was always flashing her beautiful smile the minute she walked into any room and she will be missed immensely by friends and family.
Lori passed away on April 12, 2025 in McKinney, Texas. She is proceeded in death by her son, Clayton. She is survived by her husband, Darryl Toombs, her sister, Michelle Chambers and many nieces and nephews.
Viewing will be held on April 17, 2025 from 5pm- 8pm. Funeral will be held on April 18, 2025 at 12 pm—both services will be held at Charles W Smith & Sons Funeral. 601 S Tennessee St, McKinney, Texas 75069.
