Lori Ansted passed from this life after a long and courageous battle with cancer on April 23rd,2024.
She was born on June 21,1965 to Don and Kathy Ansted here in Toledo. Lori was a daughter, sister, mom, aunt, friend and animal rescuer to so many.
If you knew her, you were lucky and blessed beyond measure, as her inner beauty was just as bold and magnificent as her outer beauty.
Lori is preceded in death by her adored father, Don Ansted. She is survived by her beloved mother, Kathy Ansted, her dear children Ryan, Rachael, Colin and Delaney; her brother Jeff Ansted, and his wife, Heidi, nephews, Evan and Grant; her sister, Julie Healy, and her husband Crosby and niece, Sarah; her brother, Michael Ansted, wife, Joanna and nephew, Ethan.
Lori is also survived by the love of her life, Doug Ramsey, who showed her so much kindness, support, care and selfless compassion. We are so grateful for his undying love and he will always be considered a member of our family.
Lori loved to host, and she was an outstanding entertainer, excellent chef and the life of the party. Lori listened to advice, but lived life her way unapologetically.
Not only was she a loyal friend to so many people, she was also a staunch supporter of the Toledo Humane Society Rescue program.
She will be deeply missed.
We will be celebrating her life on April 28, 2024 at Walker Funeral Home located at 5155 W. Sylvania Ave., Toledo, OH 43623 from 2 PM to 4 PM with service at 4 PM to 5 PM.
