Lori Marie Coleman (née Pratt) Born: October 10, 1973 - Died: February 19, 2026
It is with a broken heart that I share that my wife, Lori Marie Coleman (née Pratt), passed away on February 19, 2026. Lori was my partner, my joy, and the steady light of our home. Her smile and positive spirit brightened every day, and she made our life together kinder, warmer, and more beautiful than I ever imagined.
Lori attended Akron University, and although life interrupted her formal studies, she refused to be defined by that setback. With grit, determination, and quiet perseverance she built a remarkable career and rose to become a respected Senior Project Manager for a global language and technology firm. Her colleagues admired the energy and professionalism she brought to work; her leadership and integrity earned her the highest regard from peers and supervisors alike.
Home was Lori's canvas. She loved designing and redecorating our house, turning ordinary rooms into welcoming spaces filled with love. She treasured international travel, and Rome held a special place in her heart - our private tour of the Vatican in 2024 was one of the happiest, most enthralling experiences of her life. When she discovered her Italian roots, she felt a deep, joyful connection to a place she had long loved in her heart and often spoke of retiring there.
Lori lived her faith openly and tenderly. She studied and shared the Good News of our Lord, and she carried tiny Jesus figures to give away, always saying, "everyone needs a little Jesus in their lives." She encouraged those she loved to grow and take responsibility with her gentle admonition, "Own your stuff." As a mother she was unwavering and fierce in her devotion; as a grandmother she was pure joy. To her grandchildren she was LoLo, and she affectionately called them her Itty and Bitty.
Lori is survived by her husband, Michael Coleman; her father, James Pratt; her mother, Marilyn Brooks; her stepfather, Randy Brooks; her children, Marleigh Pratt (32) of Lorain, Ohio, Corey Pratt (29) of Vermilion, Ohio, and Michael Coleman II (16) of East Fallowfield, Pennsylvania; her daughter in law (Corey's fiancée), Olivia Rodgers; and her grandchildren Amiyah Pratt (6) and Holden Pratt (3). She was a devoted mother, a loving grandmother, a cherished friend, and my beloved wife.
Per the family's wishes, there will be no visitation or public service. Those who wish to honor Lori's memory may make donations to Branch Life Church, 780 Pughtown Road, Spring City, Pennsylvania 19475.
Lori taught me and everyone who knew her to live with joy, to take responsibility, and to love without reservation. I will miss her every day. Her laughter, her faith, and the small, steady ways she cared for our family will remain with us always.
