Lori Cross Obituary
Lori was born on April 29, 1965 to Larry and Lynne (Torgerson) Cross in St. Croix Falls, Wisconsin. She attended St. Croix Falls High School and graduated class of 1983. She married Phillip Gorne on September 15, 1985 and moved to Amery, Wisconsin where they welcomed their three children, Natasha, Nichole and John. After 14 years of marriage, Phillip and Lori parted ways. Lori then lived all over Polk County, WI making many friends and fun memories.
Lori was tenacious, made friends easily, loved going out and living life to the fullest, following her heart wherever it led her, through the good and the bad.
In 2022, Lori moved to an assisted living facility in Amery, Wisconsin, later moving to Evergreen in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin. During her time in assisted living she enjoyed going to bingo, listening to music, doing arts and crafts, and visiting with the residents and staff.
Lori is survived by her children, Natasha Gorne, Nichole (Tom) Nygard and John (Isabela) Gorne; mother, Lynne Cross; sister, Cheryl (Dennis) Basham; brother, Mike (Heidi) Cross; many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Lori is preceded in death by her father, Larry Cross.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
