Lori was born and raised in Old Saybrook, Connecticut, to Marilyn Montano & Donald Savage on April 25th, 1962. She graduated from Old Saybrook High School, and spent her early years exploring Connecticut, Colorado & Maine, where she ultimately planted her roots. In 1984, Lori met her husband Lee Goggin in Sangerville, Maine, and they were married in Sebec, Maine on July 8th, 1984.
Lori & Lee spent their early marriage in central Maine, building their home in Dover-Foxcroft, having their first child, Coral, in 1987, starting and operating a successful pizza shop in Guilford Maine, and having their second child, Haiden, in 1992. During this time, Lori pursued her unique artistic interests, under her brand, Off the Wall Creations. She created and sold many unique items, including her slate paintings, wooden sculptures and signature potted pants.
After Haiden was born, Lori & Lee closed down their Pizza shop and Lori pursued a career in a new exciting industry, cellular phones. She started Unicel's Cellular N' More store in Dover-Foxcroft, running it independently for many years. When Unicel was acquired by Verizon, she joined Verizon and led multiple teams in their Bangor headquarters for over 15 years. After she left Verizon, she pursued multiple ventures, most recently operating Salon Centric's Brewer store. She broke multiple sales records for the region, and was always recognized by leadership, co-workers and peers as an incredibly adept and caring leader & friend.
Outside of her business ventures, Lori adored spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She loved attending her grandson's sporting events, as well as traveling, going on cruises & vacationing at camp in Lee, Maine. She was an active member of the Kiwanis Pool club, many motorcycle groups & had countless creative hobbies she explored. She loved gardening, baking, painting, jarring her signature relish & of course, riding her beloved Harley.
From an early age, Lori's vibrant personality, artistic sensibilities, insatiable curiosity and infectious smile brightened every room she entered, making friends wherever she went and always putting others before herself. She was loved by so many and made such an impact on the communities she was a part of.
