Lori Ann Pittman

Lori Ann (Desautell) Pittman, 60, of Ashaway, Rhode Island, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, February 11, 2026.

Born in Woonsocket, Rhode Island, she was the beloved daughter of the late Arthur and Sandra Desautell.

Lori was someone who always found beauty in everything. She was intelligent, cheerful, and deeply compassionate, with a love for music, gardening, and a natural ability to connect with people. Her laughter was constant and contagious, and her presence brought light into every room she entered.

Lori dedicated much of her life to others. She worked for several years as a crisis advocate, serving in numerous nonprofit organizations, including Crossroads and Amos House, where she supported individuals and families through some of their most difficult moments. At the time of her passing, she was employed at Brown University Health / Rhode Island Hospital. Whether through her career or her volunteer work, Lori was always finding ways to give back and lift others up.

Above all else, Lori loved her family. She leaves behind her four children, Robert Colprit III, Stephen Colprit, Richard Entwistle III, and Taylor Entwistle. She was a proud and loving grandmother to Braxton, Chloe, Levi, Faith, and Camryn, who brought her incredible joy. Her children and grandchildren were her heart and her greatest accomplishment. She is also survived by her two brothers, Bryan Desautell and Eric Desautell, as well as many cherished friends whose lives were made better by knowing her.

A Celebration of Lori's Life will be held at 12 noon on the first day of spring, Friday, March 20, 2026, at Gaffney-Dolan Funeral Home, 59 Spruce Street, Westerly, Rhode Island.
In true Lori fashion, as the season turns toward bloom, we will gather to honor a woman who saw beauty everywhere and helped others see it too.
