Lori Ann Dudley Reece, age 58 of Scott, Georgia, passed away on Saturday morning, December 2, 2023 in Scott.
Born in Dublin, she was the youngest of two children born to Susie Thompson Dudley and the late Jerry Dudley. She grew up in Scott and was a lifelong resident of the Adrian and Scott area. She was a graduate of Adrian High School, Class of 1983. She later worked at the Best Buy and Freds warehouses in Dublin.
Lori was a member of the Mt. Olive Church of the Nazarene and was previously affiliated with the "Angels in Flight" ministry.
She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. In her free time, she loved to shop, visit friends and help other in need. She loved fashion and relaxing at home with her favorite NetFlix shows.
In addition to her father, she is preceded in death by a nephew Jeremy Braswell.
Lori leaves behind: her mother, Susie Dudley, Scott, GA, her son, Coty Reece (Jennifer), Dexter, GA, her daughter, Lacey Smith (Whitley), Swainsboro, GA, her sister, Angie Braswell (Adam), Scott, GA, grandchildren, Colton and Anzlei Reece and a special nephew, Kayden Mercer.
Services will be held at 2:00 o'clock pm on Friday, December 8, 2023 in the Williams Chapel of Sammons Funeral Home with Reverend Al Soles officiating.
Lori will be laid to rest in the Mt. Olive Cemetery.
Her family will receive friends on Friday, at the funeral home, from 1:00 o'clock p. m. until the hour of service or friends and family are welcomed to call at the home of her mother, Susie Dudley, on the days leading up to the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made, in her memory, to her son, Coty Reece.
