Born on February 9, 1978, in Lexington, Kentucky, the daughter of Larry and Dinah Minix Hall. Bother-in-law, Fred Swiger, Paternal Grandparents, Lawrence and Margie Hall, Maternal Grandparents, Paul and JoAnn Easterling Minix, Mother-in-law, Reva Swiger, preceded in death.
She is graduate of Magoffin County High School and a graduate of Prestonsburg Community College in Prestonsburg, Kentucky with an Associate of Science Degree. Lori loved all types of music and enjoyed this passion with her daughter, Lana, while the boys were at work. She loved spending time with family and friends as well.
Those left to cherish her memories include husband of twenty-four years, Mike Swiger of Salyersville, Kentucky, daughter, Lana Swiger of Salyersville, Kentucky, son, Loegan Swiger of Salyersville, Kentucky, parents, Larry and Dinah Hall of Salyersville, Kentucky, father-in-law, Shelly Swiger of Salyersville, Kentucky, sister, Tracey Holderby and husband Tony of Salyersville, Kentucky, brother, Lorne Hall and wife Lori of Salyersville, Kentucky, sister-in-law, Latonya Swiger of Salyersville, Kentucky, LaShell Swiger Arnett and husband Jarrod of Salyersville, Kentucky, uncle and aunt, Marvin and Sherry Hall Watson, Aunt Debbie Minix Shepherd, Aunt Elaine Minix Williams, a host of family and friends who love and miss her.
Funeral services for Lori Jean Swiger will be conducted Tuesday, December 9, 2025, at 1:00 PM, from the chapel of the Salyersville Funeral Home. Clergy Lindsey Meade will deliver comforting words on the day of service. Interment will follow in the Hall Family Cemetery on Gun Creek in Salyersville, Kentucky. The family will welcome friends Monday, December 8, after 6:00 PM and anytime prior to funeral services. Contributions can be made to the Lori Swiger Scholarship Fund for her children's college education.
