Lori Trahan Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Crowder Funeral Home - Webster/Clear Lake on Mar. 29, 2026.
Lori Ann Trahan, age 63, passed away on March 27, 2026, in Webster, Texas. She was born on November 6, 1962, in Portland, Maine, to Clarence Simmons and Shirley Berube. Lori lived a life marked by love, strength, and devotion to her family, always bringing warmth and light to those around her.

Lori is survived by her devoted husband, John Trahan; her loving daughter, Jandi Chavez, and her husband, Michael Chavez; her son, Jaron Everett; her brothers, Christopher Simmons and Michael Simmons; her cherished grandchildren, Bryce Arnett, Mikaela, Brooklyn and Maverick Chavez, and Jaxon and Alora Everett; her nephew, Aaron Simmons, his wife, Ricci Simmons, and their children; her mother in law, Judy Edwards; her brothers and sister in law, Marty Trahan, Ryan Domengeaux, and Cheri Domengeaux; as well as numerous extended family members and dear friends who will miss her deeply.

Lori was a qualified chemical operator and later earned a horticultural certification, reflecting both her strong work ethic and her enduring love of nature. She had a deep passion for traveling and treasured every opportunity to create lasting memories with her family. Lori also adored her animals – her cats, Simba and Nala, and Deek, the beloved dog she shared with John.

She found joy in the simple and meaningful moments of life, especially reading psychological thrillers, taking annual family trips to the beach house, and spending time at the movies, where her favorite indulgence was popcorn with extra butter. Lori's laughter, kindness, and unwavering love created memories that will be cherished forever.

Lori will be remembered as a beautiful soul, a guiding light, and the heart of her family. Though she is no longer with us, her love will continue to live on in the lives she touched.

On Tuesday, March 31, 2026, Lori's family will greet guests for a Visitation and Viewing from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm followed by a Funeral Service at 6:00 pm at Crowder Funeral Home, 111 E. Medical Center Blvd., Webster, TX 77598.
