Lorie Baxley Floyd, 59, of Cades, wife of James "Jimmy" Floyd, passed away Tuesday, December 5, 2023.
Lorie was born on April 3, 1964, in Darlington County, daughter of the late James Aaron Baxley and Lizzie Marie Lee Baxley. She was a member of Bible Temple in Coward, and was a Shift Supervisor for CVS of Kingstree for 20 years.
Surviving are her husband of 20 years, James "Jimmy" Floyd of Cades; son, Joshua Aaron (Erin) Pierce of Cades; daughters, Danielle (Matt) Ashkettle of Florence, Amy (Neil) Tanner of Johnsonville and Kellie (Doug) Beacham of Oklahoma City, OK; sister, Sylvia B. Lee of Coward; brother, Jody Lee of Coward; niece, Tisha M. Lee (Steven Locklear) of Coward; nephews, Brandon Lee and Blake Lee, both of Coward; grandchildren, Jacob Tanner, Bonnie Tanner, Caroline Beacham, Lib Beacham and Gunner Wilkes; brother-in-law, Ronald Williamson; sisters-in-law, Pearline (Larry) Mishoe, Christine (Tommy) Jeffers, Willa Dean (Allan) Scurry and Roberta (Ray) Floyd; niece, Macie Mata; nephew, Remi Locklear; other extended family and her fur baby, Shiloh.
Lorie was preceded in death by her sister-in-law, Rheba Williamson.
Graveside services will be 3:00 PM, Saturday, December 9, 2023, at Floyd Chapel Cemetery, Lake City.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 – 2:30 PM, Saturday, December 9, 2023, just prior to the service at Carolina Funeral Home, Scranton.
