I played a lot of basketball with (and a little bit against) Lee. He was a real gentleman, a good sport, and a man of "quiet enthusiasm." I value my memories of him, and of the many good times we had together in sport. He was special.

Dear family,
I remember the first time we met was at an angus preview show. Our families were introduced ourselves to each other. After 5 minutes of chatting we were good friends. Your family was very friendly and sincere. We all worked together with the rest of the junior members for the rest of our years in the angus world together. I remember at one of the national shows the whole group was working together setting things up and one mother was standing back shaking her head at everything that was being done. Lee looked at me and said remember it's all about the kids and we all kept working. I wish I'd known he was a big hunter when we were going elk hunting 20 years ago I would have asked him along. We appreciate your friendship and love your family.
