Lorraine H. Beers

Lorraine H. (Fisher) Beers, October 16, 1944 to February 9, 2026. Lorraine was born to George and Helen (Thiede) Fisher on October 16, 1944. In 1962 she graduated from Watertown High School in Watertown, South Dakota. Upon graduation from Northern State Teachers College in Aberdeen, South Dakota, she went on to teach school in Gettysburg, SD. On December 27, 1970, she was married to Roger Beers at St. Martins Lutheran Church in Watertown, SD. Roger and Lorraine moved to Sioux Falls, SD where she taught at Franklin Elementary School until her retirement. Roger and Lorraine moved to Westerville, Ohio where they remained until her passing. She is predeceased in death by her husband, Roger on February 9, 2025, which was exactly one year to the date of her passing. She is also predeceased by her parents, George and Helen Fisher and a brother, Richard Fisher and his wife, Joyce. An interment service will be held at a later date at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Watertown, South Dakota.
