Lorraine Clauss Obituary
Lorraine (Vaillancourt) Clauss, 91, of Bristol, died on Wednesday (December 3, 2025) at The Pines of Bristol. Lorraine was born in Wallagrass, ME on April 29, 1934 and was a daughter of the late Arthur and Hernelle (Deprey) Vaillancourt. Her family moved to Connecticut when she was young and she graduated from Bristol Public Schools on June 21, 1950. She worked in retail earlier in her career then transitioned to manufacturing at Bussman MFG in Bristol then Carling Switch in Plainville where she retired. Lorraine is survived by two children: Tammy A. Clauss with Mike Drogosek of Bristol, and Glenn A. Clauss and wife, Kathleen of Torrington; four grandchildren: Ryan Clauss and wife, Merissa, Derek Clauss, and Evan Clauss and wife, Molly, and Jessica Drogosek; two great-grandchildren; and nieces and
nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, her sister and brother-in-law: Gloria and Tom DeForge; and her former husband, Richard Clauss.
