Lorraine E. (Kerrigan) Coughlin of Reading passed away on Monday, November 24, 2025. She is 96 years of age.
Born on Thursday, November 14, 1929 in Medford, Lorraine was a warm, kind, gentle sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt and friend who will be deeply missed.
Originally from Malden, Mass, Lorraine was a long-time resident of Reading, Mass. She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph Coughlin, her daughter, Donna (Coughlin) Feeley, her sister, Mary Buckley and her brother Donald "Donny" Kerrigan. Lorraine leaves behind her son Robert "Bob" Coughlin, her daughter Karen Coughlin and her partner Mark Millerick, her brother John "Jack" Kerrigan and his wife Elsie, her son-in-law Thomas "Tom" Feeley and her granddaughter, Jamie (Feeley) Shawky and her husband Karim, her grandson Jason Coughlin and his wife Kelly and great grandchildren, Joshua and Kailey.
Lorraine had a long career at Bay Bank in Reading. She was a family person at heart, and loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She enjoyed summers in York Beach, Maine. Lorraine was humorous, witty, generous and enjoyed any social setting. She was a member of Saint Patrick’s Church and enjoyed her group of friends there.
Family and friends are cordially invited to gather and share memories with Lorraine's Family on Tuesday, December 9th from 8:30am - 9:30am in the Barile Family Funeral Home, 482 Main Street (RT 28) STONEHAM. Parking attendants and elevator are available. A Funeral Mass Celebrating Lorraine's Eternal Life will be held on Tuesday, December 9th at 10am in Saint Patrick Church, 71 Central Street Stoneham. Interment will be at Wood End Cemetery, Reading.
