Rocky Hill - Lorraine W. Falvey, 101, passed away on Saturday, February 15, 2025, at her home. She was the wife of the late John J. Falvey.
Mrs. Falvey was born April 29, 1923, in Waterbury, the daughter of the late Armand and Anna (Platen) Wolff. She was a longtime Cheshire resident, where she was a communicant of St. Bridget of Sweden Parish.
Mrs. Falvey is survived by her children John Falvey (Caryn), Ellen Budris (John), Andrew Falvey (Patricia), Mary Falvey; her six grandchildren Michael, Kevin, Erin, Joe, Katie, Maggie; her eight great-grandchildren Dylan, Avery, John, Mae, Leighton, Nathan, Victoria, and Isabella. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother and six sisters.
Arrangements – A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, February 24, 2025, at 10 am. Friends are asked to meet directly at church. Burial will follow in St. Bridget Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 4 to 6 pm at the Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Cheshire, 615 South Main St. Memorial contributions may be made to Office of Radio and Television, 15 Peach Orchard Road, Prospect, CT 06712.
