Lorraine Genarelli Obituary
adored and beloved mother,
grandmother, sister, and aunt
Lorraine (Giuliano) Genarelli, age 89, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, on Thursday, August 7, 2025, at the Lutheran Home in Southbury. For 70 years, Lorraine was the loving wife of the late John J. Genarelli, who predeceased her by eleven weeks.
Lorraine is survived by her daughter, Gina Tartaglia and her husband, Daniel, of Waterbury; her son, Kenneth Genarelli and his wife, Iris, of Oakville; and her grandchildren, Melissa Rund and her husband, Philip, of East Patchogue, NY, and Kenneth Genarelli II of Oakville. She also leaves her sister, Patricia Cipriano of Margate, FL; as well as several generations of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Lorraine's funeral will be held on Thursday, August 14, 2025, with calling hours from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Maiorano Funeral Home, 95 Willow St., Waterbury.
