Lorraine Hanson, age 94, of Forest Lake, MN, passed away on February 24, 2024.
She will be remembered for her culinary skills, always delighting friends and family with her delicious creations. Lorraine's kind and welcoming nature made her beloved by all who knew her, reflecting in the deep friendships she formed throughout her life.
As a dedicated secretary and seamstress, Lorraine's passion for serving others shone through in her work and personal relationships. Her family was fortunate to witness her mother's unwavering care and love every day.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Gilbert and Edna Esterly; brother, Virgil; husband, Charles; infant child; and son-in-law, Todd Tipton.
She is survived by daughter, Marcy; son, Bryan (Debbie); grandchildren, Christopher, Josh, Caleb (Alex), Ashlee, Matthew, David; great grandchildren, Siena, Sophia, Owen, Adeline; 2 step granddaughters and their children; numerous nieces and nephews, other family and friends.
A Celebration of Lorraine’s Life will be held at 11 AM, on Thursday, February 29, 2024, at Constance Free Church, 16150 Crosstown Blvd NW, Andover, MN. Family will be greeting friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will take place at Crystal Lake Cemetery.
