Lorraine M. Hause, age, 85, of Bloomer, a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister, passed away peacefully on January 19, 2026, and is now rejoicing with Jesus in His Kingdom, reunited with loved ones who went before her.
Lorraine was born on January 12, 1941, in Catawba, WI to George J. and Esther H. (Droese) Fuchs, the 13th of their 17 children. Lorraine married Robert L. Hause Sr. on October 28, 1961, in Catawba, WI.
Lorraine worked at Woolworth in Chippewa Falls, Ben Franklin in Bloomer, and lastly at Jennie-O Turkey Store in Barron. Lorraine lived a life centered on family, faith, and simple joys. She found great happiness in caring for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who were the light of her life. She loved playing cards, sewing, canning, cooking, and was especially known and fondly remembered for her beloved Christmas cookies. Lorraine also enjoyed trips to the casino, cheering on the Green Bay Packers and Milwaukee Brewers, and gathering with family whenever possible.
Lorraine is survived by her siblings, Betty Otto (Howie) and George Jr. Fuchs. She leaves behind her children: Becky Prince, Dean Hause, Dennis Hause (Sande), and Diane Miller (Ric Gannon). Lorraine was a proud grandmother to Dustin Prince, Daniel Prince (TaBatha Harel), Wes Prince (Darian), Waylon Prince, Hayden Karnitz, Hunter Karnitz (Keekee), and Kyle Hause. She was blessed with great-grandchildren: Dakota Prince, Landon Prince, Boston Prince, Griffin Prince, Raylan Prince, Rhys Prince, Koa Karnitz, and Eleanor Prince. Lorraine is also survived by Waylon’s stepdad and special family friend: Roger Miller.
Lorraine was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Hause Sr.; her son, Robert Hause Jr.; and several siblings.
Those who knew Lorraine will remember her gentle strength, her generous heart, and the way she made everyone feel welcome. While she will be deeply missed, her family takes comfort in knowing she is at peace, fully healed, and home with Jesus in the Kingdom of Heaven.
Visitation will be held from 10:30 AM to Noon on Sunday, February 15, 2026, at Olson Funeral Home in Bloomer with a memorial service starting at Noon on Sunday, at the funeral home. Following the service, a luncheon will be served at the Bloomer Civic Center. Burial will be held in the spring at the Bloomer Cemetery.
